I’m Stephanie Herbert, CEO and founder of Own The Moment Counseling Services. We provide counseling/psychotherapy services for individuals, adolescents, couples and families. We work from a holistic foundation with emphasis on the spiritual, relational and emotional needs of a person, We offer services to the community of Paulding and surrounding counties.
We utilize innovative strategies and techniques that are designed to increase awareness, motivate growth, and empower others. We collaborate with the clients regarding their psychological or emotional needs. We aid our clients in developing the strategies that will assist them in implementing changes that will propel them in progressing towards their goals of leading a more enriched and productive life.
OTMCS utilizes a strength based and goal-oriented style that focuses on the whole individual We work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We specialize in Marriage and family therapy
The first visit will consist of a diagnostic assessment and impressions with a road map of what our work together may consist of. Our goal is to ultimately empower each client in their growth process to the degree that they are capable of facing life’s challenge without us as your therapist’s in the future. We believe in order for therapy to be most successful, it is important for the client to take an active role.
With my counseling practice, I am bringing into this Profession 12 years of personal experience from an unhealthy relationship and 4 years practicing as a Licensed Counselor with a Master’s of Mental Health Counseling. My goal is for every individual & relationship to have a better quality of life & relationships.
